Don't take it to heart. I read the whole thing and this person doesn't know what they are talking about. The fact that Andrew had written for plays, film, publication, as well as continuing to act just shows how versitile he is. He isn't in the Hollywood scene anymore...so that makes him washed up? C'mon if that's the case there are ALOT of other names to add to Blog idiot's list. Plus Andrew is a beautiful man and so damn hot!
Don't let it rattle ya, kid....these days anyone not constantly hounded by the paparazzi or in less than 5 a-list films yearly is "washed up"...some of us might call it "keeping a low profile", but hardly washed up.
Nah, not 70, still about 30 years away from that :) Glad to see that AM still has so many loyal fans...and that you all seemingly get along well. Everyone seems genuinely friendly and generally care about Mr. McCarthy's career. Good!
Be careful how you word thaqt Ty. We do have a few more mature fans. Mrs Nelson (Peggy) being one of them. By all means she is no granny but a little older then you are. Yes we have a really nice bunch in here. Most all of them pretty genuine. Maybe that is what keeps us going for Mr. McCarthy.
Hey Ty-watch your language-ha. What's wrong with grannies? I am not one but am a romantic. Andrew was a mature man when I found him (SFTH). Discovered he has many loyal fans who have been with him all thru the years. I live alone now and Andrew keeps me from being depressed. Just wish he was a better correspondent. Oops! Forgot to tell you that I never correspond with Andrew. Never had written a "fan" letter and don't intend to. Thanks to him I have made some really good friends, especially Mary. I always enjoy reading the girls' love letters. Just think about being a real fan for well over 20 years. Many have husbands and families = that includes Mary. Her Bob is such a dear. Has agreed to pay for and help with her Andrew mail all this time. I don't think my Howard would have. He was more jealous type. Anyway Andrew doesn't even know me.
your posts are so sweet, i just hope our Andrew is reading all of them.
i'm not married, and live pretty much alone. I found andrew when i was 10. Had a signed pic sent to me in the post, i emailed his site and asked for it. Someone there is sending them out if you ask - very kind, they are not stamped, but proper autographs.
i understand what you say about being depressed and andrew helping. i always put on one of his movies when i am sad. one night last year something really awful went on in the street all night, outside my home and i was alone and very scared and not able to leave the house, so i put on st elmos fire and watched it with earphones in and felt much better.
Peggy, you are way to kind. And Bob thanks you too. I am just happy you didn't tell them all the bad stuff. On how yu have to harp at me to get that Calendar up and also keep me from being lazy with the site. ha
