I would like to know if Kevin McCarthy is Andrew's father. He is the spitting image of him but I have yet to find in any biographys stating who his parents were/are. It's driving me crazy..... Kevin's biography is the same, stating he has children but gives no information
Hi Marion, I gon't believe Kevin McCarthy is Adnrew's da. I ahd read a few articles on Andrew that stated that Andrew's father is a stock broker. Of course I could always be wrong. I have seen Kevin's name show up in many films but never have seen a photo of him. I wss alwaus curious abut them too.
Kevin McCarthy was in the original version of the "Body Snatchers" back in the 1950s. If you can find the tape and check it out, I am sure you will agree with me on the resemblence; notice the mouth, the chin, the teeth and the shape of the head. Let me know; it will be interesting to hear your views.... Incidentally I just purchased Manniquin... Have always loved that movie...... Half.com is the best place to find movies very reasonable...
Sorry guys Kevin is not Andrew's dad. He is a sweet, handsome older man who loves his wife and is very proud of his children. He was a stock broker and is now retired. He lives in a north eastern state and has never been in show business.
I can accept that.... It's just amazing how much the two resemble each other, especially before Andrew got his teeth straightened.... Just finished watching Mannequin and am now going to view the original Body Snatchers.... Thanks so much for the fill in, I really appreciate it.
No problem. Actually, Andrew has 3 brothers. One is a writer and wrote the film Jump. The other two are in special effects and worked on Titanic, What dreams may come and Independence Day. I know all of this because their very proud dad told me when he came to my workplace. Now you know all that I do.
