It was probably the late 80's ... his character dies, goes to Heaven, meets his soul mate. They fall in love and marry in Heaven. They build a beautiful little home in a country field ... she disappears. He finds out she is born on earth.

He begs to go back, but is told he has 20-something years (21?) to find her, or he can never see her again ...

Please does anyone know what I am talking about? I have told my husband and friends about this movie, and for the life of me, I can't remember the name or find it in his bio.

Hi there, I believe you are thinking of a movie called "Made in Heaven" That films starsTimothy Hutton and not Adnrew. Here is the link. If I am right let me know. It's really odd that  you asked that question because years ago someone posted a similar comment in the guestbook. I believe they said some people get the two  actors mixed up.
