Hallmark Channel will show "Straight From The Heart", starring Andrew McCarthy , twice during Valentine's Day week of romances. Sunday, Feb. 8th at 3:00 PM ET and Thursday, Feb. 12th at 9:00 PM ET. Interesting for many reasons, mostly because he looks different in most scenes, is so vulnerable in one particular church scene, shows his skill as a horseman, contrast between his beautiful ranchhouse and her (Teri Polo) ultra modern New York apartment and very romantic ending. I guess you can tell I liked it.
Isn't Straight From the Heart a lovely film. I absolutely love the church seen. It's one of my favorite parts of the film. I also love the seen where he and Teri Polo our in the barn. Well, I think all our lettes must have worked. I am so happy the Hallmark Channel is giong to air the show twice on Valentines week. All though I don't get that staion I am going to try and watch the film on my DVD for Valentines Day. I already watched it last week.
It is so nice Straight From The Heart will air twice on Valentine's week. I will sleep imagining how terrific his performance is as a hoseman. HeHe well, I am happy huge fans will be able to watch the show again or for the first time. Please enjoy it ladys and tell how you liked it !
Mary-wondering how you saw the film last week and will watch it next week if you can't get the channel. I'm a tech birdbrain. Agree with your favorite scenes. Also liked the dance and when he saw her legs for the first time. Peggy
I like this movie . I think this is the second time Andrew and Teri worked together. I like this movie better because Teri was in the whole movie. In the first movie her character dies in the fist hour.

As I might have told you I had bought the film on DVD awhile back. But, I sure would love to get the Hallmark channel. There is a lot of great shows and films on there.
Hi Wally welcome to the message board. I totally agree with you. I like the second film with Teri. I think she is a very good actress and it was nice to see her in the whole film.

Peggy taped the movie for me on Hallmark Channel and sent me the tape to Japan. She is really kind and sweet woman ! And Mary has connected us in this great website. I thank you for everything "straight from the heart" !! Wow, that was a great film I absolutely loved it. Yes all of the scenes were so lovely where the church and the barn, their dance, riding the horses side by side on the grand beautiful plain of Wyoming. Andrew was really terrific in it, I understood what Peggy has been telling us. Yes I think so too he was different from his previous movies, in that film I thought he was especially keeping his acting under control so that his delicate expression and his tone of the voice were very impressive. He was quiet and simple. Just my taste. I guess a lot of people watched the show. I am sure new huge Andrew fans are coming to Mary's website everyday. That's wonderful. don't you think Straight From the Heart would be great if they continued the story and showed this beautiful story continuing and how Tyler would react to becoming a father again after they married
Yes Toni, and Wally, that would be really great if they continued the story ! If Tyler had a baby again, I bet he would become a wonderful father. Am sure they will be a beautiful family. I sure hope their part2 too.
( I would think probably I should not write this because it's things her personal but, Peggy who started this topic is not well now, she is so lovely Andrew fan and loves this site and my friend, I do hope she would be doing well soon and come back in here.)

Yes I agree with Toni. I would really like to see a part 2 of this great movie "Straight from the Heart". I loved it. I'm glad I was able to tape it and I've watched it countless times since. Andrew and Teri were great and had a great chemistry together that you can see on the screen. The supporting cast were equally wonderful. I can't get enough of this movie. Who knows if we keep this up maybe the producers would take note and do a part 2. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks Mary for this wonderful website. And hi to everyone...
