Did anyone tape "The View" when it aired on March 3? Since its during the day, I missed that interview. If anyone has a copy, I would love to get a copy!
Elenor did you ever get your copy of The View? If you haven't I could probably make you a copy. But, I can't do it for another week or so. I have been busy and will be out of town next week.
Hello Eleanor , If you would like to go ahead and send me your address at your convenience, I will record and tape The View for you ASAP. If at all possible if you can send me 6.00 for the cost of the tape which includes shipping,I would really appreciate it. Thanks it does help me keep a stock of blank tapes around.
Good Morning America came on the same morning as The Vie, and the Good Day show was on in the afternoon the day before. Were you able to see those interviews.? If not let me know I'll be happy to add them.
Thank you. I will be happy to send you the money for the tape and postage to mail the tape. Yes, please include the Good Morning America and Good Day interviews to the tape.
I received your tape yesterday and had an opportunity to view it. Wow! Andrew is exactly how he portrays his characters. There is such a shyness and vulnerability about him. He seemed uncomfortable about all the hype regarding his "bratpack" days. On the Good Day show I noticed that he did not speak much and seem to avoid any on going dialog with the interviewers, unlike Bruce Davidson and Diane Ladd.
As for the Good Morning America show, again he appeared to be uncomfortable. Charles Gibson’s direct questioning approach was in direct contrast with Andrew’s shy vulnerability, especially when GMA aired Andrew’s first TV commercial. It looked like Andrew wanted to disappear. I think Diane Swayer should have done the interview because her interview style affords individuals the opportunity for vulnerability while being interviewed.
I especially noticed Andrew’s nervousness when he was on the "View." Was this because he was surrounded by women or just nervous because he was with a live audience? I specifically noticed that he seemed to take deep breaths throughout the interview. At one point, as he was responding to a drawn out question, he was rubbing his hands together and twirling his wedding ring and I noticed his hands were shaking. He even made an off hand comment that we was nervous and had an "actor’s nightmare" because he had to "come and see you." It may have seemed like he was joking; however, I think there was more truth to his statement than not. However, because he has such a "great" smile, you are drawn to his smile and don’t notice his nervousness.
Andrew is a "real" person with vulnerabilities, like any other person, and does not exude the "Hollywood" type image which makes him so likeable and endearing.
By the way, I sent a e-mail to Andrew in the early part of March at the address on his web site; however, I haven't received a reply as yet. I know he is busy taping Kingdom Hospital; however, it would be great if he replied.
