Me too - i was upset to see this last night, i always wanted to say thanks for the hours of enjoyment, i have some very fond memories of his movies, watching weird science when i'd just come out of the hospital, how i felt when i saw pretty in pink for the first time and sixteen candles.
i think my fave was when i was having a really bad day or was worried about the next day i'd watch the breakfast club mostly and that would always cheer me up.
