an eye out for Andrew McCarthy on the Lower East Side the next few days. He will be in the neighborhood shooting scenes for an upcoming independent feature called Forbidden Love. According to signs plastered along Suffolk and Pitt Streets, filming will be held today through Friday at 107 Suffolk and the Our Lady of Sorrows church.
Neighbors neednt worry about too much clutter, though. As if anticipating negative response, the folks at HP Productions, Inc. write that this is an independent feature there are no 55-foot tractor-trailer trucks or dozens of star trailers.
There isnt much information out there about Forbidden Love. Only that it stars Andrew McCarthy and Vietnamese singer Ha Phuong. And the tag-line teaser is She could touch the starsbut she never could touch her secret lovers heart. Snooze. We still cant shake this image of Andrew McCarthy:
