Cattrall meets up with Mannequin co-star Most males of a certain age fell in love with Kim Cattrall back in 1987, when she starred in the movie Mannequin. But it was only recently that Cattrall finally reconnected with her Mannequin co-star, Andrew McCarthy, after close to 25 years. In the movie, Cattrall played a mannequin named Emmy that came to life. Her love interest was Jonathan Switcher, played by McCarthy. "I was shooting a commercial (last) December and I got word that Andrew was directing an episode of Gossip Girl," Cattrall said. "So on a break I went over and said hello to him. "I hadn't seen him since the middle '80s. It was a really lovely reunion, it was perfect, really terrific. "He looks really good. I think he's happy. I still think of Andrew as Jonathan Switcher, you know? But he seemed very much in command with his headphones around his neck and very happy to be there." http://www.torontosun.com/entertainment/columnists/bill_harris/2011/04/07/17907841.html
Rach it's funny that ypu ppsted this article. I just got finished watching Kim in Sex And the City 2 the other day. I was thinking that I thought I read along time ago that she and Andrew were friends. I guess I was mistaken. Oh and thanks for reminding me I forgot to return the movie. :)
