Tyrone power Westfield native Andrew McCarthy, best known as one of the Brat Packers in such 1980s films as "Pretty in Pink" and "St. Elmo's Fire," is coming to the McCarter Theatre Center in Princeton.

The actor, who did a "Weekend at Bernie's" twice, will appear for more than a month as James Tyrone Jr., the drunken actor-landlord in Eugene O'Neill's "A Moon for the Misbegotten."

In a way, McCarthy will be repeating himself. He has already played James Tyrone Jr.: The character also appears in O'Neill's "Long Day's Journey into Night," a drama McCarthy performed at Hartford Stage Company in 1999.
