I too live in the UK, and I followed the posting on Straight from the Heart - I've never seen it, and can't get hold of it here. I find it quite frustrating that we have less luck getting to see these things - I was surprised to see "Kingdom Hospital" made it here!
I wonder if 2B Perfectly Honest will ever get a cinema release here - any of the US "posters" know if it's coming out with you yet?
And I still can't get the Breakfast Club on European DVD.....
It's wierd that you can't get 'T.B.C.' on DVD - maybe you could on video - I'm sure I've seen it - unfortunately, I just can't remember where?? I suppose you have tried all the major outlets like Blockbuster Video - they have found Andrew films for me in the past. I was very lucky last week and found 'The Year of the Gun' on DVD - in of all places - Kwik Save - and it only cost me £3:99 - amazing eh?
I have to admit that if Andrew wasn't in 'KH' I probably wouldn't be watching it. Stephen King isn't my fave author. I find his stuff totally off the wall, and I'm too old for that!!!!
I will continue to watch and tape the show, of course. Any excuse to watch Mr. Wonderful, any excuse at all.
I haven't contacted Hallmark yet, I really will have to. I just hope they are sympathetic to the obsessed????? Tee Hee.....
Yeah - I'm still in a daze over it - wow, wow and more wow!!!!
He certainly goes from good to even better doesn't he? Just wish I was able to cross the pond and do a little Andrew hunting, nothing horrid, of course, but my dreams would come true just to meet him once - or more if possible, but heck once would be just fine with me. Sigh, Sigh, Sigh. [Sad old so and so aren't I?].
Keep looking for The Breakfast Club -I'm sure you will get a copy. Have you tried W.H.Smith by the way. They can sometimes get copies of films, but you have to order them. Good luck. Byeeeee
Hi Shirleigh, as an Andrew McCarthy fan of nearly twenty years (gulp) i was really excited to get a load of his stuff from an american mail order company. If you have a multi region dvd then you're laughing. I now nearly have all his films. Loving KH, he just gets scrummier by the second. We just don't get enough info about Andrew.
