Please recomend to me Andrews best movies

For my birthday next month, my husband is going to buy a few of Andrew's movies for me . After viewing Mary's wonderful website, I've realized that there are a LOT of movies I have not seen. The question is  which ones should I have him get for me. I would very much appreciate any suggestions you ladies could make to me . Thank you in advance for your help.

everyone's got their favorites... me, I prefer the young Andrew, and I'm pretty into 80s nostalgia, so Less than Zero is probably my favorite, 2nd Pretty in Pink. I think St. Elmo's Fire is a completely lame movie but watch it just for the steamy scene between Andrew and... what's 'er name...

He doesn't float my boat in his most recent movies and tv shows. I tried to watch whatever that one is on the Hallmark channel but the way he looks lately I just want to sit him down and feed him--the man needs to gain a good twenty or so pounds. Just my opinion.

Hope that helped a little.

Hi Girls,

I'd love to make some recommendations for favorite "Andy" films.  I'm still viewing ones that I've not seen...  That's great because it gives me something to look forward to.  I think the opposite of his weight.  I think he looks Great! I can remember when he was "heavy" and I still adored him.  If you want to see how heavy he once was...watch the episode of "Goosebumps" that he was in years ago.  My first favorite "Andy" films were/are "Pretty In Pink" and "Mannequin"...no doubt! My most recent favorites are "Straight from the Heart", and "Anything But Love."  I'm a romantic, so I can appreciate the most sappiest of love stories...it's a rarity anymore (I prefer those type over pornographic style anytime).  Like Ralph Macchio and Keanu Reeves (two of my other favorite actors)...I enjoy watching them...and if it's a movie that's not so great...well...noone's perfect.  I still adore him/them!

Ralph Macchio was once "heavy" too...but he's now slimmed as well.  Keanu Reeves is also slim.  I'm not into the muscle man appearance, but I don't consider the actors mentioned as rail thin either. I respect the opinion of others, but it feels better to hear positive things about Andy than not-so-popular ones.  I was told I was too thin too...but it's better than the one time 280 pounds that I once weighed (I don't wish that on anyone).  Well...I hope my suggestions help somewhat.  I did like "Less Than Zero" among others, but for some reason, the scene where his co-star was "on his knees" shocked me.  It's imprinted on my mind...I guess at that time, the "shock" had not worn off, as it is today.  No...I'm not "green", but I didn't expect that when seeing the movie for the first time. Don't get me wrong...that actor is wonderful in his work as well.

I've noticed a lot of Andy's films have adult content in them...after all he/we are adults.  I wouldn't expect to watch him in ~all~ "Goosebumps" type movies (smile).  He's an excellent actor and I respect his work, as I do my other favorite actors.  I enjoy sharing "Andy" time with you all.  It's nice to communicate with other people who have the same interests! I really love this site! It's a great place to visit when you need a little "Andy" now and again.  Thanks Mary!

Sorry if this message comes twice..

just needed to correct this typo

I'm losing you .. not loosing

well,, i just wrote a few things but something wrong.. it didn't come out..

anyway, .  I was saying- Weekend at bernies II is one of 2 sequels in the entire film world I enjoy quiet ok. A Dead body dancing with the music playing is such a great idea, also this Vodoo stuff keeps one step in a laughing nonsense comedy and the other step in a briefly explanation of why things happen'. I like this one better than the 1rst Bernie's, maybe it needed more commitment about production, but we all know for some reason sequels are sort of neglected somehow... the proof is out there. however weekend II in my opinion is quiet safe from this stigmatic-snowball. hope things will get some better.

cheers
