I don't think Miranda was trying to be gossipy or cause trouble...I'm feeling that she must think Andrew might have been in this film due to the fact that she requested help from Andrew's fans.

I did not know her and did not want the column to be used. So I popped off. Mary will have a fit when she sees it. I have never seen Class but am aware it was his first film right out of college in the 80s.
Yes, he did have sex with Bissett in an elevator in Class and the email from Miranda was not clear that it was a question about Andrew, but anyone that has seen Class knows about the scene in the elevator. Peggy, it was a movie where Andrew was really quite cute and innocent in the beginning of his career. We all can understand you wanting to protect the site's integrity and I hope Miranda understands. Try to get the movie "Class" if you can, it was really good. It was with Rob Lowe and Andrew in a college hazing type of situation and later in the movie Andrew was to have sex relations with an older woman and it turned out to be Lowe's character's mother; unbeknowst to Andrew. Lowe's character was not happy when he found out needless to say.
Peggy emailed me right after she made that post. She said Mary I know your going to hate me but there was a post on the board that she found upsetting. She said I am not as nice as you guys and felt I had to nip it in the bud. So of course I immediately went to the board and read the post and thought hmm Class. Actually Peggy is very sweet and a true devoted fan. So I hope you forgive her Miranda.
It is Class. Andrew is in a bar and meets Jacqueline Bissett, after andrew is humilated a few times, he goes out to go back to school, J catches up to him and sedues him in the elevator, where andrew makes some very funny dorky comments, ha ha!!

dear all thank you for your replies. i am an andrew fan of the eighties and had a huge crush on him. i was talking with a friend about a film i had seen back then and did not know what it was and could only remember he was in a bar and the elevator. i will find class and thank you for all your help x
Aww how come no one has aggreed with Snerfy's comment of Andrew''s admirable quality. Let me be the first to agree. I don't think if we didn't think Adnrew had an Admirable quality we wouldn't still be here. Very admirable if you ask me.
That's one of the reasons I think Andy's got the best fans on terra firma...an intelligent bunch who never cease to offer a kind word to other fans or assistance to the merely curious.
I've seen other celeb fans openly snipe at each other, and it's refreshing to see none of that bickering here. There may be differences of opinion every now and again, but no one ever gets rude or tactless...amazing!
I'd be willing to venture that Andrew is quite proud of having such top-notch fans. Not many celebrities can boast of such a high calibre of supporters.

I know what you mean I have been to a few message baords for different celebs and they are absolutely crazy. Usually if we get soneone distasteful or tactful in here it's not a fan. Usually it is some randome poster.
