How do you do screen caps? Can you tell me how to get them, or where I can go to find out how to do them?

That is so nice of you to offer. We can always use new photos for the Calendar. And eventually when I get my new computer straightened out I would love to put some on the movies pages.

Janet there are programs that you can buy to make screencaps. It's very easy to do. Their are programs for VHS and for DVD's. On my husbands new computer it will just let you click a button while you are watching the DVD, and it takes a picture. We haven't had time so I could look at that. But it sounds cool.

The sage Mary is indeed correct! It is a rather uncomplicated operation, yet one I have only recently discovered an ability for (and I've had the program for years...go figure).

As far as the films of our beloved Mr. McCarthy, I have everything he's ever committed to film on DVD or some other form of video (including the 20/20 interview). About 25% are actually sitting in my collection at the moment...the others are stored due to having no room for them. I'm working on getting a new cabinet for my DVD/VHS colelction, but it's slow-going because I'm entirely too picky for my own good biggrin

So there is someone out there as bad as I am. I am also looking for a new either video cabinet or entertainment center. I have a very large and expensive one right nwo but it's to big for the room. I want to go smaller but not to small I am way to picky and won't settle for anything. I even thought of building my own so it will be perfect.

As for my screencap programs. They are either on a computer that dowsn't work well or disconnected. For now how would you like to send meanice photo from Pretty in Pink for the Calendar. Beware those screencap programs can be addicctive. hmm

LOL, I know...they are quite addictive...I always go overboard when I get a new 'toy'. It was the same thing when I got a new camera a few months ago. I took photos of anything that would sit still for 2 seconds.

What kind of photo would you like? Any particular scene? You name it, you got it.

I am not sure I am following this screen capture thing but if it's what I think I would love a pic of Andrew from Pretty in Pink. The scence where he comes into the record store where Molly is working and he has the sun glasses sitting on his head!!! He's so hot!
Not sure you can accomadate this but I thought I'd throw it out there is case. hmm

Oh...thank you so much. I have always wanted a pic of that scence and have watched that scene over and over. The other good scene is when Molly is working on the computer and Andrew sends her a message and she stands to see and so does he....he's is so fine! When you do get it my email is

Snerfy sent me some great photos of Pretty in Pink if anyonw would like them I will be more then happy to share. Thanks again Snerfy I know what you mean about that camera when I got my new one I took ons of photos.
