Just want to let everyone know my Netflix quest of Andrew continues. This time it was STAG. Wow! I have to say, I thought this was going to be a movie I watch just to say I watched it. McCarthy's acting in this film was Andymazing. I mean I shouldn't be surprised, he is perfectly capable, but really he "became" this role. Andrew was gone, including all the idiosyncrasies we love about him! And there was a low life, manipulating, creepy loser. For me this was truely some remarkable acting. But ofcourse no sex appeal. That's ok, for this time. If anyone has seen this please tell me what you thought.
Hey Ty watch it how you tak about my gorgeous Pete from Stag. He is my man. ha Seriously I agree I love the wayAndrew throws himself into that role. Don't you just want to stragle him he is so good.l Very believable.
And, you have to applaud his dedication to the role...how many other actors would rub that gunk all over their teeth, huh? That's dedication, my friends
If you go to Andrew"s site and go to Television you will see the interesting article he wrote about that Stag. To me the interesting part is the movie he made for Sally Field - A Christmas Tree - and there is a great photo of him hugging a tree out there somewhere. It is about the tree chosen for the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. What makes it interesting is that that film has disappeared from the face of the earth. There is a rumor that Disney bought it. There have been efforts to get it shown but without any luck. My question is where to go to try to get it on the market--Google? Yahoo? Disney. I think it is very unfair someone has taken a film off the market. It looks so interesting. I would like us to start a project to ask for it if we only knew how or where
