Aww shucks. Thanx!
FRESH HORSES!! OK, the movie ain't so great - but they filmed it in my hometown, so it strikes a nostalgic chord with me. It was funny to see Andrew & Ben Stiller hanging at the Mad Frog - a club I hung out at during the 90s!
Okay Children it's nice to hear all of your ages. I'm with Peggy put me downDfor one of the older group memebers. I guess I am old enought to be Sandr'a s mom and maybe Duckie's older sister. ha
I have seen Jon Cryer in Two and 12 men. That is such a cute show.
The Joy Luck Club is available on DVD here in Germany . I never noticed cause itīs got a total different title called "Töchter des Himmels" (translated it means Daughters of Heaven). It took me quite a while on the internet to find out. Now Iīll see if I can rent it anywhere...
Possible there are more ?!? Iīll keep searching. Itīs quite an adventure finding his movies, really. But itīs also fun.
I agree with you that the ending of Anything But Love was a bit much but on the DVD the director elequetly explains it. In that 50s era all romances had happy endings and dreams came tru. THis movie was made as a salute to those movies and I guess that is why it appeals to me so much. As a hopeless romantic all my dreams come true also. The songs are great and most are familiar but the one that is background to each time they are together is driving me crazy. I love it but can't f find it in the credits. I recognize almost all of them in the credits. It's beautiful and it soars when they have their love scene. Again when she sees him waiting at the end it starts again. Help anyone?
Sorry, Iīve also got no idea what that song is called, but I know which one you mean. I too like it. The ending where Billie and Elliot meet again was quite nice. I definitly liked that, but I thought the wedding stuff with Greg was a little exaggerated. Billie and Elliot had to come together, thatīs for sure.
Iīve bought Stag awhile ago. Really enjoyed that one. Heīs so great in that movie with all the tatoos and the rotten teeth and being so nasty
I too love The Courtyard, Patti. That is a suspense movie. Andrew moves into an apartment and the residents around him are all trange people. He hears a voice of a murderer by accident. And..
I hope it's DVD will be out soon. So you can see it sandra. I bet you like it. I'd reccomend that you all.
sandra, I am happy to hear you liked Stag. Yes he was great and so nasty ! Bye the way, it has been almost 2 months late but, happy birthday to you. I am sure you had a nice birthday with boyfriend who looks like Elliot in Anything But Love-- not like Pete in Stag !! --ha
Thanks for your birthday wishes . Yes I really had a nice birthday. Well, a birthday with a boyfriend like Elliot wouldīve been much nicer , but thatīs ok.
Iīm trying to get "The Joy Luck Club" for awhile now. Itīs released on DVD here in Germany, but one canīt get it anywhere, damn it. Itīs also shown here on TV, but unfortunately I canīt receive that program.
Somehow I don't think Andrew ever did Georgetown. I wonder if maybe he had other commitments that came up. Haven't heard anything on that film in the past two years.
Well I emailed a gal from the Helen Mirren Website to ask about "Georgetown" and not good news I am afraid..but ya never know things could change down the road..I cannot imagine anything with Helen Mirren getting shelved..She's such a powerhouse! and wouldn't we all love to see Andrew in a successful series!!
Hi Patti - I don't think it ever will unfortunately. I don't know any more details, only that the pilot was never aired. If anything changes, it will be on our website.
