Movie in the Park slated to show tonight

Tonights Movie in the Park is The Spiderwick Chronicles, rated PG.

When a boy moves to a new house, fantastical characters come to life in a race for possession of a magical book.

The movie runs 97 minutes and features Freddie Highmore, Mary Louise Parker, Nick Nolte, Andrew McCarthy and Martin Short.

The free movie begins at 7:30 p.m. in Spring Lake Park. Those attending may bring chairs, blankets and snacks. A concession stand will also be on site.
