I may be the dumbest person on earth, but I was watching my old fave St Elmos Fire this weekend, and suddenly it clicked, after seeing this movie first 13 years ago and never catching on before, that Andrew was actually singing in that scene where "kevin" is drumming in the apartment he shares with Kirby to Aretha Franklin. I listened to the commentary to confirm this. Not being familiar with Aretha songs, I never noticed. But hell he has a great sound!!! great voice, great tune!!
I noticed it the first time I watched it. I absolutely love that scene.
Thanks for letting us know about the book Afterbirth. I read an article in the New York Post earlier this year that had an interview with Andrew about it.
I must be dumb because I didn't know it was a book. I bought it on Amazon and received it yesterday. It is soooo hilarious!
i just checked Amazon. They still have the book for sale just like you said. I think the price is around 16.50.
Just type the name of the book in the browser and it will be the first book you see listed.
Andrew's story is called "The Bugaboo". The story is about the stroller that Delores bought for Willow. Andrew talks about his frustrations with it and tells a funny story about the trip he took to Ireland with Delores, Willow and Sam.
If you still cant find the book just send me an email to ireneschnell56@hotmail.com and I can help you to get it.
That book sounds hilarious. I will have to try and get a copy. At the moment I watch a 9 month old baby girl and occasionally watch a 7 month baby boy. Some of our stories of the two would make you laugh out loud. I bet that will be a great rad.
I do remember Adnrew singing in St. Elmos! Yes Andrew does have a nice voice. Loved that scene.
