Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced a Blu-ray release of St. Elmo's Fire which stars Rob Lowe, Andrew McCarthy, and Demi Moore. The disc will be available to own from the 11th August, and should retail at around $34.95. The film itself will be presented in 2.40:1 widescreen, along with an English Dolby TrueHD 5.1 soundtrack. Extras will include commentary with Director Joel Schumacher, a Joel Schumacher Remembers St. Elmo's Fire featurette, a John Parr - "Man in Motion" music video, and deleted scenes.
