I've been a longtime lurker, but I finally decided to post. Does Andrew still live in NYC? I would love to get a chance to meet him--I find the story of his life very inspirational, and he also grew up in a neighboring town to mine.
Hi Sandy, glad you decided to post. I believe Andrew lives in Mahatten part of the year and the other part he lives in Ireland. Please feel free to post anytime it been kind of quiet arund here. If you have any other questions I will try to answer them.
Thank you for the warm welcome. I think I rediscovered Mr. McCarthy's talents after reading his travel article on Maui and then watching Lipstick Jungle (my girlfriend finally made me watch it b/c her daughter was an extra). I'm not a big TV watcher, so things fall off my radar quickly.
I too enjoy reading all of Andrew's articles. In fact every time I think I am caught up I find more te to rad. He really is deserving of his journalist award. If I ahd my way I wish we could pick the subject and have him write about it.
Hmm! Haunted houses while traveling. Hint, hint! Whether you believe or not everybody likes a good ghost story.
Rach, glad you like my idea. I almost didn't post it because I thought people would think it was kind of stupid. What made me think of it is Andrew did an article when he traveled to Galaway Ireland and their is supposedly one of the most famous houses in Ireland there. What would be your great idea's?
Regarding where Andrew lives --- there is a new article on his website that he wrote about living in NYC....and he mentioned how he recently moved to Mid-town Manhatten.
I'd love him to coome to England, there are loads of supposedly haunted areas here. I think it's a great idea you had, Mary. I woonder if it is something he is interested in.
