There is a book signing, and one is earmarked for you...if it wasn't for you, I would never be going to this event (it was your post that alerted me to the talk).
We're taking our little guy to see the White House, the Washington momument, the National Geographic and Air & Space Musuem. That's probably all we'll have time to do, but those are on the top of his list.
Since my son threatened to tell Mr. McCarthy, "My mom's favorite movie is Pretty in Pink," I decided that he and my husband can abandon me during the book talk (even though I have tickets for them).

Well, I'm starting to get butterflies in my stomach. I will certainly relay the messages if I don't faint! I spent part of the weekend clearing out the old pictures on my camera.
