That's really great idea !

Yes, Hallmark is very responsive, and kind. When they desided to reshow the film in February they let me know the schedule by email. Of course they notified Peggy and guess they notified all the people who had sent the requests. I have been writing them for a few times and am so looking forward to receiving some good news from them. Straight From The Heart is a true great film. Sure hope you girls would show your enthsiasm for him toghether.

MARY-THE IDEA FOR A SEQUELACTUALLY CAME FROM SOME OF THE OTHER GALS. i HAD ONLY GIVEN SOME THOUGHT TO HOW TYLER WOULD REACT WHEN HE SAW HER ULTRA MODERN APARTMENT AND HOW THEY WOULD WORK OUT THEIR LIVES TOGETHER. CAN"T IMAGINE HER GIVING UP COMPLETELY HER CHINESE FOOD AND MUSEUM TO BE A FULL TIME RANCHER"S WIFE. iT WILL BE INTERESTING TO SEE WHAT SCENARIOS THE ANDREWFANS COME UP WITH.

An interesting idea. Hummmm, she's accepted his proposal. Now what? Sis is married and the ranch needs a woman--maybe a child too. Yes! With a child could come another conflict with Sarah's father.

Hey, this is the wireless age. Jordan can still work as a photographer from virtually anywhere. Remember, she does have a background in the country.

I to would love to see Tyler's reaction when he see's Jordan's apartment. And I think it would be very entertaining to see Joredan on the ranch kind of going stir crazy and itching to travel and do some work. Who know's maybe she could take a trip for work and they would have another scare by having her go into labor early.

I also think it would be really cute if Jordan's best friend ended up with Edward. Notoce how they never got along kind of like Jordan and Tyler. I also would love to hear some of the other fans Ideas.

Mary- I like your ida about her being away and early labor. However we couldn't do that to Tyler. Not twice. And I think Jordan's friend Carla deserves bett than Edward. Personally I couldn't stand him Maybe Laurie's Chuck has a brother. It would really be fun to see the sophisticated Carla falling for a rancher. There has to be more to ranching than trying to protect wild mustangs. That barn was an unholy wreck-maybe they should build a new one. Sarah's father seemed to be influenced a lot by Jordan. Maybe they could have a dramatic scene witth him as the godfather for the baby.

Wish some of those other cle ver girls would wake up and write some suggestions. Peggy

Where are they going to get married, in the little church that the funeral was held in.NO How about out doors where she first saw the Mustangs. And yes the story should continue with a baby, maybe twins and Jordan hides it from Tyler until she is sure, perhaps she visits Carla in Ny and goes to her Dr in the city. His reaction to her being pregnant should be memorable. I agree the story was just unfolding. We need to know what happens next. What did they do with"Lucky" in NYC Lets keep the interest going.

I disagree with Andie. Of course they will be married in the little church. It is an important part of Tyler's life and Jordan loved it. I do like the idea of twins maybe. About what did they do with "Lucky" that night--Tyler being Tyler which he was right to the end would have made arrangements in advance for someone to take care of the horse. I just jkeep visualizing him in her apartment sleeping on one of those sofas that night. 31 stories above the ground! He would probably be disoriented.

I think Mary has in mind sending this whole page to Hallmark with all the suggestions.

I have also wanted to see what happens now, because you know that life is not that simple.

My first question is where do you keep a horse in NYC and where does Tyler stay in NYC? It is a very long drive from WY to NYC and did he just arrive in NYC or has he been there for a few days? Tyler appears to be a cautious, sensitive and reserved person who feels very deeply.

Since Tyler and Jordan have been apart, he realizes that he loves her, but is he ready to share her apartment and maybe her bed on his arrival to NYC. I would like to see how these two people deal with that situation. What decisions do they have to make as to where they will live, her budding photography career, her friends in NYC (Carla), Chinese food, Cappuccino???? I would like to see her show him her NYC and how he reacts to the big city and maybe they bump into Edward during her tour of NYC.

I think it would be great if they get married in that little chapel in WY and the guests are a combination of her friends and family from NYC and his friends and family from WY. An East meets West sort of situation where the two cultures actually realize that they have much in common. A real culmination of this situation would be if Carla and Hank Jameson (Sarah’s father) get together.

How about the living situation in WY? Don’t Laurie and Chuck live with Tyler? There may also be too many memories of Sarah in that house that Jordan would have to compete with and how will that affect her relationship with Tyler? How about if Tyler begins to build another home nearby for Jordan and him with a dark room especially for her. This would allow her to continue with the photography career. Remember that it was her pictures of cowboys and WY that got her noticed in the NY art world.

I think the idea of twins would be great! I also think that Tyler will always be cautious regarding a pregnancy. Jordan may have to travel back and forth to NYC for her photography shows and this may cause some anxiety for Tyler. Having Carla come and visit Jordan may give Tyler some comfort and spark a budding relationship between Carla and Hank Jameson.

I think these situations would be interesting to explore in a sequel to Straight from the Heart II. I hope Hallmark can get the same cast of characters because they were great. I am a real romantic and I would love to see a sequel to Straight from the Heart.

Eleanor has some great ideas. Their living arrangements are an interesting subject. First his reaction to her apartment which is such a contrast with the ranch house. By the way, I loved that ranch house. But thinking of Jordan in that classic old fashioned bedroom with the lace curtains and cedar chest with Sarah's wedding dress is too much. I never thought of Carla and Hank Jamison. What an interesting ideait's such fun to think about all this. I do hope Hallmark will do it and have the same cast. They were all terrific. I didn't care for Edward but I loved Jesse. I read somewhere tht Andrew chooses movies he feels comfortable with and I assume he liked doing the first one. Hope he wants to follow through. So glad all you girls are involved with this. Mary will handle it with her usual skill

You all have a lot of great ideas for a sequel. Do you remember when Edward gave Jordan the key and she had that silly look on her face like what is this? I think Tyler should also give her a key. He could do it as either a joke or have the key really meaningful to something like a Jewlry box or maybe a key to her new darkroom. I don't know what I think about Carla and Mr. Javeson. But, I do think maybe their could be a new bond there between he and Jordan. Maybe he could walk her down the isle since she doesn't have a falther. Keep posting girls.

I was curious about the character of Jessie. Is he married or does he have a girl firend? They all seem to treat Jessie like more of a friend then just a hired hand.

I think if Tyler and Jordaan have a baby or possible twins it will throw havoc into the whole Jordan photograapher thing. They say that women can have it all but I don't know that sounds like a lot. Does Tyler take on the responsbilitties while she is running off to New York. Or what if Tyler happens to like the Big Apple. Maybe he would wnat to move there permanantely. But, I don't know? Something tells me he needs his outdoors.

I think they should share there ways of life I think Tyler needs to hang his deer mounting over Jordan's couch. And I also Think Jordan needs to add something to Thyler's home like one of her famous photos or something really modern of hers. I hope you girls keep posting. I am enjoying your thoughts.

Hello everyone! I just want to say that I'm 100% behind this idea of a sequel to Straight from the Heart. I just love this movie. Probably one of the best films Andrew has done so far. Just thinking about the possibility of a sequel makes me so excited. I can just imagine Tyler and Jordan going through different situations but this time it would be much more exciting coz they're very much in love.

I enjoy reading many of your great ideas for this sequel. I also like to see them get married in that gorgeous old church. Jordan loves it and I don't think it would matter to her that it holds other memories for Tyler. Their wedding would be much more different I'm sure. I also love the ranch house but this time I think Tyler should build a new home for her. Jordan is so talented and creative and deserves a home of her own where she could use all her talents to the fullest. As for her bestfriend Carla, I'm sure Tyler has many rancher friends she could meet and hopefully fall in love with one of them. Maybe someone as gorgeous as Tyler if that is possible so that she and Jordan will always be near each other. I love Carla's character. She's very funny and a true friend to Jordan. That is why I would love to see her fall in love too.

As for Tyler and Jordan, I'm sure there would be a lot of problems there at first. I think this is where the story would focus on. I think Jordan would need to go to New York from time to time due to her work as a photograper and Tyler won't like it very much. For one thing, he would miss her and he won't like the idea that she can bump into Edward anytime. A little jealousy there perhaps. But Jordan needs to keep her independence because she's not so sure of Tyler's love for her. We all know how much he loved his first wife and maybe Jordan thinks that she will always be second best. And while all these are going on, Jordan finds out she's pregnant. Should she tell him right away or wait until she's sure how he feels about being a father again. I'd really like to see how they deal with these obstacles and find out in the process how much they love each other. Keep on posting gals so Hallmark would see how serious we are about a sequel. I've also sent an e-mail thanking them for producing such a wonderful movie. Maybe if we keep this up they will finally say yes. I'm looking forward to reading your ideas. Great to see others share in the interest for a Straight From the Heart sequel, there is so much material to cover, I did not hink that Laurie and Chuch were living with Tylar after they married, remeber his sitting at the kitchen table alone eating a sandwich? Maybe he can arrange with Laurie to have the house completely redone while he and and Jordon were on their Honeymoon, As for the living arrangements i think they would live in Wyoming and Jordon would only need to go to NYC when she had shows or meetings with galleries. After all her subject matter that got her noticed was the Outdoors The pregnancy is a must and watching his insecurities and fears would be great, as Andrew comes off in this role ais a very sentitive soul. the orginal book that it was adapted from actually had Tyler dating other women but never making a commitment, in fact in the book he sleeps with one of these women trying to forget Jordon ( her name was Zoey in the book) maybe we should direct some input to the author as she wrote the screenplay from her book

I was thinking that maybe about our to be continued story line. What if Tyler also showed an interest in photography as maybe a hobby. He could be taking pictures of Joran while she is not paying attention. Maybe taking photos of her while she is taking her photos and he could capture very memorable shots of Jordan and even the birth of their baby. And what if he sent them into one of Jordan's galleries and the actually did a show and he surprised her. Or do you all think we should leave the photography to Jordan.

Nice idea but I think Jordan should be in the photograper, it will be somenthing that is just hers. In my option the story should forcus on Tylers reactions and reluctance to go on with his life even though he has now expressed his love to Jordan. The lagistics to hteir relation ship and his finally putting sara behind him, how he starts his life over again and how he leaves the past behind Just my thoughts!

Well, this is a bit off topic but... I wonder where they will go on their HONEYMOON ??

If two people married, they have to go (??) honeymoon. I guess Jordan may want to visit somewhere modern and big city and enjoy touring the art museum- such as Paris, Milano, London. Each would be so nice. But, meanwhile, does our Tyler ever want to leave his land for just a honeymoon ? Peggy said he does love his own land and yes that's completely right. So, I just happened to find it...

How about WY's Red Desert !

They say Red Desert is one of North America's spectacular wild places. I think he knows the place well and its beautiful landscape will must be a terrific subject for her camera.

In my personaly thought, if he said yes, ALASKA is a highly recommendable to them. (although am sorry I have never been to there) Wild life watching, Aurora observing, Kayaking.. I would think it's absolutely suitable for their honeymoon's destination- what do you guys think ?

Hi I found the book after much research at ebay it is a used paperback, as it is out of print. the book is s bit different as far as Laurie and Tyler dates " some of thetown women" Jordan;s name is Zoey I tried contacting the author Pamela Wallace to see if she wrote a sequel with no luck. She also wrote the screenplay so perhaps she could be reached through Hallmark. If she writes the sequel we would have a chance that the story would be continued on film

In my opinion I think it would be better if Pamela wrote the sequel. I think when sequels are wrote in the same style they are much beter.

Does anyone having any ideas for a title for the sequel. I think a similar title would be nice. For example: Straight from Tyler's Heart or Another Heart to Heart. How about Straight From 2 Hearts. Or Straight from our Hearts. And we know how Tyler and Laurie can both be so stubborn. How about Tyler's Heart Laurie's Heart Round 2. Oops just a litle joke their guys.
