Are you talking about the book signing on, I think, Oct. 14? Would it help if I ask him about it when I see him at one of his NYC book signings next week? I was also going to ask about the UK as well. Just let me know!
The Dublin book signing is a definite. He will find out whether or not he will be stopping in London by the end of this week. I hope this information helps.
Thank you so much for asking him.. Now do I wait to see
If London happens or book flights to Dublin..
Still a dilemma but at least I know Dublin will happen.
Really appreciate you asking him :)
THANK YOU! :)
Ok we need to get details of his publishers and bombard them with requests for UK ..... stay tuned or if anyone finds the details for them and how to contact them while I am at work please share!!! otherwise I will get to it after work x
Probably the best way is for me to ask Shelly to ask her book rep if he is going a London event. When I spoke to her last, her rep said that there was no London event listed as yet, just as he told me and just as the schedule indicates. Since Shelly is I'm the business, she can just call and ask. And I will have her do that. Or, I can just e-mail him. Final option...he will have to know on Oct. 3 when I see him again. I'm on it too!
Hiya.. I will fly out from Bristol to Dublin and return the same day.. Hopefully flights won't be too bad.. Other than that London is a direct Train from my town... But if i
can't get advanced tickets it may just cost the same as a return flight.. London would be better though as the airport in dublin is out of the city so costs to get to the centre
as well.. Hope we knmow soon this could be my only chance to meet him and have been waiting 25yrs for that :)
I had my friend Shelly ask her sales rep to find out about a UK stop. As soon as she finds out, she is letting me know. Either way, I will know on Wednesday when I see him again. And I will make sure to ask again. He knows I'm persistent.
Hey everyone, I got a London update, but I know it's not much of one. Yes, the published has every intention of having Andrew do a signing in London once the book is launched. I hear the UK launch date is Oct. 11. Is that correct? Anyhow, they are still trying to get dates from his publishers. I will ask him again tomorrow and try to find out when and where a final decision will be made!
So anyhow, he admitted frustration with not knowing about London plans. And contractually, I highly doubt he's allowed to set up one of these events himself. He said the Oct. 13th event in Dublin was a sure bet, and there would be an opportunity for pictures (just like in the States). He promised he would e-mail me updates on London, and Shelly is keeping tabs through her sales rep bookstore connections. Sadly, it's a numbers game with book sales. I hope this helped.
Ah sorry you have the same problem.. Its so expensive unless you know a year in advanced.. Still hoping and praying he does London.. Molly Ringwald did Waterstones london last night so hoping she gives him the bug ;)
If it's any comfort, Andrew said he would let me know if a London signing was in the works. In the past, he's e-mailed me about such events, so I am keeping my fingers crossed for you both.
