DLee-can't believe that discussion about Andrew's BLUE eyes. What do you all look at when you are watching his films? Those BIG BLUE eyes are his best feature. He talks with them.
For proof I refer you to Naughty Angel's fantastic screencaps. She is so good at that. They are almost like posters; some almost lifesize. I am forwarding ONE of my favorites. It is from Straight From The Heart (SFTH for future use). I suggest you go to her Andyland website then to Gallery on her list of links. She did screencaps of three films-;Anything But Love (ABL);St. Elmo's Fire (SEF) and SFTH. My very favorite is Andrew in a tux playing the piano in ABL. They are all great. There is a whole row of those eyes in SEF - that is a younger Andrew. I know you will love them all as I do. Peggy

I have to admit...after watching "Class"...I noticed that Bisset's eyes were a true green and that Andrew's eyes did look blue. It really did look as though his eyes were...."non-green" in some of his other films. It was just an opinion...but I stand corrected. And yes...he really ~does~ talk with those gorgeous eyes!

I just found this web site a few days ago. I think in his younger days (movies) he looks like he has blue eyes - in Straight from the Heart, especially in the Church scene - he looks like he has green eyes - not true blue anymore. I think he looks so much different (younger) when he is clean shaven in that movie!!!!!!!! Love the eyes and the mouth!

:Carol - interesting you noticewd how different he looks in certain scenes in SFTH. Three years ago I happened to watch that film and was so intrigued by how different he looked in almost every scene. I had never heard of him but out of curiosity put his name in keyword and was so astounded by what I found. Fans from all over the world and of course best of all Mary's Appreciation site. Under her Guestbook I saw that there had been over 900 letters. I started reading them and found most of them real love letters. I sure became a fan fast although I have never written him a fan letter. I am gra teful to him for making new friends like Mikako in Japan and of course Mary and I have become real friends. I wrote Hallmark complimenting them on that film and have had a regular exchange with someone there ever since. Never epected a reply. There is a girl there who I think is an Andrew fan and always says nice things about that film which is very popular and they play it often.

Anyway although I am older I am an incurable romantic and Andrew sure helps fill the blue spots in my life since I lost my husband. I love to read his writings. The one about SFTH is so interesting. He is really courageous.

Doggone it! There are still times where his eyes appear green. Help...is there anywhere where it states specifically what color his eyes are that is 100% accurate to trust and go by???
