I finally got a copy of the book "Straight From the Heart." I'm still in the early reading, but I'm trying to make it last, since it's a quick read for me. The book is always more detailed than the movie, but this book is totally different than the movie. It's not bad...nor is the movie...Obviously! Would anyone like to track this book by reading it together and discussing it. I'm trying to get this topic started up in my Yahoo group for Andy as well. I picture Andy as I read about the character "Tyler" that he portrays in the movie, but Teri's character's described totally differently. I would love to have a book discussion with anyone reading this same book. It's a small book, but I feel we can have fun with it! I love both this movie and book!
WoW!! The book is full of surprises! There is a little switcheroo in some areas, and there are lines that come straight from the book to the movie...you can just see it all in your head. Hope to hear from someone else who's tracking the book.
Hi, I have just seen the movie on the Hallmark Channel two days in a row and I'm totally in love with Andrew all over again! Didn't realize it was based on a book. So silly question here...any bookstore or do you have to special order it? Whose the author?
I won my copy on Amazon.com. Yes...I certainly understand how "Straight From The Heart" makes your heart go pitter patter. Andrew looks as good as ever! The only other cowboy that I have been crazy over was the young Johnny Crawford, when I saw him in re-runs of "The Rifleman" when I was little. I didn't realize at the time, that he and I were years apart. WoW...he sure looked good! I still think he has been one of the best looking men to ever live. I didn't realize how sexy cowboys were :) (Sheltered Life I Guess).
