I am not surprised. How could a guy have those wonderful laughlines around his mouth if he wasn't a super person?

I think I understand why you would not want to give your name because I know he is a very private person. On the other hand I would probably want to brag about even knowing him:aww:

that would be the best to work for andrew. Yeah he is a private person in some ways, although i think he has opened up a lot lately. He just seems genuinely a lovely person. I hope he comes to england one day (that i know about!)....... one of my sisters friends met him in new york and told him about me and her (his uk fans) and andrew apparently said he'd love to do west end, if he does to tell us to come to the stage door and he will come and talk to us,

i've met a fair few actors, actresses - not one has ever offered us to the stage door before. only Andrew!

. Hello Guest and thanks for sharing that with us. Just by having this website I have heard from several people over the years who have been co workers of Andrew or have met him and I always have heard only good things. One of my most enjoyable letters came from The Willimasburg Theater where he was performing, It's amazing how he is so well liked that people will go to the extremes and out of there way for him. With that note how can we help but not like him.

the only "bad" thing i have heard is Andrew being "fired" from law and order, due to a bust up with the star of the show (vince something or other)........ i understand that the people who fired andrew had to support their star but did they rreally have to say horrible things about andrew too?

I had not even heard about that on "law & Order" Wonders how anyone to say anything nasty about Andrew with all the good things we hear so much.. I hope one day to meet him to Rach!! I will be there to see him asap!! My 25 year dream...

The 1980s movie pin-up was supposed to guest star in two episodes of the show, but series creator Dick Wolf gave him his marching orders when he failed to work amicably with the star. Wolf says, "Mr. McCarthy engaged in fractious behavior from the moment he walked on the set." An angry McCarthy fires back, "I was fired because I refused to allow a fellow actor to threaten me with physical violence, bully me and try to direct me."

I like the way andrew stood up for himself. D'onoffrio is rumoured to be notoriously difficult to work with.

I just saw Andrew on an expisode on Law & Order last week. He played a defense lawyer and was only on about 10 minutes of the whole show - but he was great in it. I don't think it was the same episode tho. I never watched the show, but taped it because he was in it. Can't picture Andrew behaving poorly unless provoked.

I saw the SVU episode that he was in a few months ago. Andrew was absolutely terrific in it,(not to mention a little scary). He was so completely convincing. What a versitile actor he is. I am sure that whatever conflict there was, it was due to that Vince "whatever" guy . I am also glad to see that Drew stood up for himself. That vince guy is in a little pond, and thinks he's a big fish. We all know who and what Andrew is, and we love him for it .

I recorded the other Law and Order episode that was on a couple of weeks ago, while I was away. Can't wait to see it, know matter how few scenes he's in. A little Andrew goes a long way .
