Um, hello, everybody...I've been lurking about for a bit, but only just now decided to post...sorry, I'm painfully shy *blushes*. Anyway, I want to say that I am such a big fan of Andrew McCarthy's, and, eventhough the man is old enough to be my father, I think he is absolutely drop dead gorgeous. He's such a wonderful actor; better than all (in my humble opinion) of the others people my age "pine" for. Anyway, hello again *tiny wave*. Hello Southern Punk Girl and wlecome the he board. It's nice to have another new member. And no don't worry you are not breaking any board rules. We really don't have any rules or regulations posted because basically haven't had the need for them. We have a great bunch of posters in here.
The only one big rule we have is that you have to at sometime try to watch The Ffilm's Straight From the Heart and Hollywood Mom's Myster from the Hallmark Cahnnel. Okay jsut kidding aobut htat. But, beware we are trying to promote these films for a possible seques to Straight From the Heart or maybe a new film. So beware you might get tired of us. Thanks for the welcome, Mary. And I saw Straight From The Heart when it was on in February; such a wonderful romance! And it was cool to see Andrew McCarthy and Teri Polo back together after they did A Father For Brittany. I'm so glad that The Hollywood Mom's Mystery comes on before I have to leave for school; there's so many channels one doesn't get in a college dorm.

I think Sam is a really cute name even for a girl. I do remember Adrnew saying his son's name was Sam on the 20/20 interview. And I to was thinking what a cute name. I have a good buddy named Sam also.

Hi again Kay, Welcome to the wonderful world of the totally obsessed with Andrew McCarthy - yes that is one of the qualifications you need , plus excellent taste, which those of us who adore the man obviously have. I have found that the ladies [sometimes a guy gets in touch]who like Andrew are very nice people. We tend to be alike in our affection for him and have immense appreciation of his talent. Although I am probably one of his 'more mature' devotees, I have adored the guy for years and years and he just gets better and better. [which is an understatement in itself]. Mary runs the most terrific site and does wonderful work on our behalf - hey well done Mary - also he now has an official site - Andrew McCarthy will find it - it has some superb pix and interviews etc, and we can send him e-mails too - not sure if he actually sees them though, but just pray that he does now and again.
